It's Time to Rally by the Riverfront!

The arrival of April has brought us blooming dogwood trees, warmer, dryer weather and a fresh perspective regarding the service and positive impact our employee/members are making in our communities! On behalf of the SEA Executive Director, SEA Alternate Executive Director and NoCASCOE Association Officers and Members, I would like to cordially invite ALL SEA NASCOE Members to make plans to attend the 2021 NASCOE SEA Rally! Attached to this email is the registration form which needs to be submitted by ALL members and guests who are planning on attending this year’s Rally at the Hotel Ballast by Hilton in Historic Downtown Wilmington, June 1-3, 2021!
The FY 2021 SEA Rally will be here before too long so please be sure to contact the Hotel Ballast to make your hotel room reservations by MAY 1, 2021. The NASCOE SEA Rally can provide incredible opportunities for participants to learn more about their benefits as well as services available to them as employees of USDA/FSA. In addition, attendees network and build long lasting workplace relationships while receiving training updates on Programs through informative and interactive training sessions while recognizing our fellow coworkers accomplishments and dedication at the Member Awards banquet! The following are just a few of the exciting events you can expect to participate in at this year’s Rally:
- NASCOE is pleased to work with the Hotel Ballast by Hilton to host our SEA Rally in their newly remodeled facility on the beautiful Cape Fear Riverfront! NASCOE has secured an incredible rate of $119.00 per night plus tax! This rate will be valid for Registered Members (Tuesday-Thursday night) to enjoy one of the area’s premier and luxurious hotel and convention facilities! In addition, if any members are interested in staying either Monday, May 31 before or Friday, June 4 following the Rally the same $119/per night plus tax rate is available. - Registration fees are just $40 per person ($20 per guest/spouse 13 years & older), which includes a goodie bag, door prize and access to following FREE events: Hospitality Room (Tues-Thurs), Breakfast (Wed & Thurs morning) and Annual Scholarship Reverse Raffle (Thursday following the Award Banquet)! FREE events are for everyone who has a paid registration, so be sure to submit your Registration Form and check ASAP to: Patsy Turner, 304 Industrial Drive, New Bern, NC 28562-5434.
- NASCOE SEA Rally will have 2 incredible days (Wed & Thurs) filled with both in person and virtual training sessions and presentations from: Dillard Financial Solutions, Inc., Employee Assistance Program (EAP), NC Blue Cross Blue Shield-FEP. In addition NASCOE is working on finalizing various program and service presentations from National and NC STO FSA personnel on topics such as: Virtual Q&A Session with FSA Management, HR-Hiring and USA Staffing, Workload Analytics-OPO’s, BOX and OneSPAN, IT Support for CO Employees and Employee Morale.
- NASCOE looks forward to returning to hosting in person events but reminds members and guests attending the SEA Rally of the following: In order to ensure the safety of everyone during this event, all attendees and guests will be required to follow all NASCOE requirements and relevant CDC guidance including but not limited to social distancing, wearing facemasks and using hand sanitizer. NASCOE is awaiting approval from DAFO for the use of Administrative Leave for Association members to attend the General Session trainings.
