Negotiations Deadline is December 15

Posted on December 13, 2015 at 1:03 PM Comments comments (2)
Annually NASCOE meets with FSA Administration in Washington DC to represent and negotiate on behalf of all FSA employees and NASCOE members. Since 1962, NASCOE has been granted exclusive recognition to represent full-time county office employees in negotiation with management on terms of employment and working conditions. Our objectives are to assist in every way possible to assure successful operation of FSA and the attainment of FSA's objectives, to secure equitable salaries, working conditions, and retirement provisions for all county office employees and to promote the professionalism of our employees.

The deadline to submit items to be considered for negotiation is December 15, 2015. Do not let this opportunity pass to be heard. Negotiations is one of the most important things we do as NASCOE.  Please send in your concerns. The submission form for negotiation items can be found at the following link, http://nascoe.org/forms-downloads/negotiations-submission/.

Update from NASCOE concerning the Negotiation Process

Posted on October 19, 2015 at 10:10 PM Comments comments (2)
One of the most important functions of NASCOE is the negotiation process.  This is an opportunity for NASCOE to present members’ concerns and issues to management in an effective manner and this process has been very successful in the past.

I encourage everyone to take some time and utilize the negotiation form at http://www.nascoe.org/Pages/Negotiations.aspx

Be sure to clearly state the issue with background and facts, your position on the issue, recommendations for resolution, and any handbook/Notice references.

If you have any questions, please contact your area chairperson as follows:

Remember, this process is directed more toward member benefits.  Program suggestions should be submitted through the program page on the website at http://www.nascoe.org/Pages/Programs.aspx and the submission form is posted there.

Please have all negotiation items submitted by December 1, 2015.

Have a safe harvest season,
